It is nice to work abroad because you will be experiencing unique and different challenges or experiences. But it would be nicer if the destinations you are going through are safe for work, not all of the destinations you would want to go are safe and nice. There are also various destinations that do not feature a friendly and safe environment. The lists below are some of the top ten worst destinations for a work experience abroad.

1. Iraq—the continuous war in Iraq makes the country as the number one worst destinations for workers or volunteers. Since the year of 2006 until this recent time, Iraq never been erase as one of the worst destinations for tourists. This place is not safe for travelers who were yearning for a holiday vacation or for work. Though photojournalists and adventurers can easily land in the country however, being cautious is necessary since death toll within the country is rising due to massive bombings and kidnappings. Though the north part of Iraq is said to be safe however, going to the country with no exact caution is advice.

2. Somalia—since 1991, this part of Africa does not have a central government that leads the country as one of the miserable countries and lawless wasteland all over the world. The only ruler that can be seen in Somalia is the rule of the gun. Though travelers and journalist can go outside the airport however, they are advised to employ their own armed guards as their security measure. If they failed to follow the advice it could seriously put them into risks and even into death. If you plan to have a job abroad particularly in Somalia, think twice before going you might end up regretting the whole experience you have here.

3. Afghanistan—another worst destination that you should have to avoid as far as you can. Well, unless you are the adventurous type of person and you can dare to visit this country. Despite the news that the Taliban terrorists have been decreasing its population, the truth is they were still dominating the place most particularly in the southern part of the country and they never allow anyone to enter unless you have a long widened beard.

4. Thailand—the country is designated as the best country for tourist Mecca, indeed we could never appoint this place as dangerous. However, since the Tsunami phenomena during the year of 2004 the image of the country has drastically changed. Things gets worst when suddenly some of the tourists still found some dead bodies of the Tsunami victims in the year of 2005. Though it is already been four years already, some of the tourists feel afraid that that worst event would suddenly happen again. Though the country is a great destination for work abroad programs, the ordeal that some of the foreign people felt against the country still never fade.

5. Riyadh—appointed as the largest and the capital city of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh is a rich city where business and commerce is visible. Riyadh offers various international work opportunities however the city as well has been appointed as one of the worst destinations to work, why? Because Riyadh is known as a very risky place due to political violence and repression as well as political and social environment. Riyadh as well is not a good place to work for foreign people because of its various diseases and lack of sanitation, communications, physical remoteness, and climate, housing and education facilities.

6. Lebanon—world famous worst country to visit because of the continuous fights against Israel. Kidnapping in this country is rampant especially to foreign people. Travelers or workers aiming to land in this country are not advice to go here. Death tolls in Lebanon are rising up making it risky for tourists or workers to have the opportunity to visit here. Suicide bombing terrorists are also well known in the country, they can be just wandering around the city, so if you want to avoid this kind of event better think hundred times before going here, unless you are a soldier who has an assigned task here.

7. Chechnya—being one of the volunteers in this country’s paid work abroad programs is good yet the place is risky even for volunteers. In fact both the local and foreign journalists could be at risk here and some of them are feared to get abducted or hostage.

8. Myanmar—though this country is one of the greatest countries to visit for travelers however, planning to travel work abroad here is not good as you think it is. Though the common problem in Myanmar is their elections and opposition parties the newly existing problems that Myanmar has recently divulged. Killing and torturing the monks in the country is not normal and just recently happening. In fact, there are news that soldiers are targeting someone who would bring a camera to avoid the story divulge into the outside world. This is the reason why Myanmar recently is appointed as one of the worst destinations all over the world.

9. Pakistan—this country is known also as the nemesis of India said to go from bad to worst. This place is no good to live work abroad. The common problems that bombarded the country such like territorial problems, election problems, foreign relation problems, sovereignty problems, tribal problems, Islamist problems and martial law imposition are the reasons why Pakistan could be a risky place to live, work or adventure a vacation.

10. Palestinian Territories—though the international community is trying hard to make the image of Palestinian territories look good to the eyes of the tourists, it seems not working. Recently, the place was seen from good to worst in terms of travel destination. This place is no good for vacationers who were looking for peace and haven. This is not the ideal place to adventure your holiday escapade due to the massive kidnappings of foreigners.
