The work industry has been really hurt by the global recession. In fact, the unemployment rate has risen high that many workers opted to sit down the recession and had stopped work for the moment. Even those who are vying for jobs abroad had stopped for a while for they know they would have the hardest time of landing a possible job abroad if they pursue a job during the recession. But it seems that the storm is finally over. The companies are already readying for recruitment and hiring workers for possible vacancies.

• Intel has also been hurt by the global recession but now they are hiring for workers on their local offices and for work abroad. They also would like to give opportunities for college students. With a good start in 2010 they would like to make available a possible niche for college students in their company.

• Ford is an international car company. Now they would be concentrating on hiring workers on the local level in the United States. Expect engineers and suppliers to be kicking for Fords demands this year.

• IBM now is indeed getting so international. In fact they are contemplating on opening a new office and service in Colombia and that means that new workers would be hired both locally and internationally.

• Google is hiring people non stop worldwide. On the first part of the quarter for the year 2010 it hires over 800 workers for them. Now with more demands on their services and with companies world wide doing so great. Google would be hiring more workers world wide.

• General Electric will now open jobs for the Michigan locals in the United States and thus it also offers some jobs for the international community. One of the largest company in the whole world, GE has more than capacity to hire international workers.

With these companies the hiring of someone in the world market means there would be a stiff competition for the best work experience abroad. Build on that work experience for a chance of working abroad.

It is a childhood dream I supposed to be able to write on a news paper and and become famous. The road to stardom is not made of roses… I mean they are indeed made of roses together with the thorns. Let us explore the task on how one could came into the possibility of enjoying the glories of journalism.

If you are rooting for a journalism work experience abroad then start small and local and do your best in every stint. Guess what? The earlier you start the better. If you are part of the school paper as early as your first year in high school then grab it and go for it. You will have the necessary experience to go for the next level.

Entering the journalism industry is no easy task but your local newspaper might even ask for a 5 years experience. So if you are new and had done only the school paper then you might be at the bottom list of the would-be employees. How to handle this kind of situation?

Volunteering for local organizations and NGOs are the best experience that you can get and mind you most of these are for free. As what I said every experience is very important. Either paid or not. It will also give you the added knowledge for future use.

If you also have developed skills like designing or photography then perhaps you will get the edge over the others. If you have newspaper editing skills; you will be a big help to the company and they are seeing you as a dynamic employee and can fill in other positions in emergence.

Before anything else an experience and master’s degree is best duo to get on top. It may be one bloody flight to climb your dream journalism job but you will not fight without the weapons.

Exposures from both online and the printed journalism world is also another options to get the journalism work experience placements. When you are good then the possibility that one of the employers out there is already looking at your CV.
