Why do most hard-working people opt to work abroad in spite of million miles away from home is really a heartrending to endure. But on the other side of it, forget about being gloomy, instead, face the reality and take what abroad can offer you and your family through the opportunities in favor to your desires.

Working abroad opportunities is one thing practically not to get escaped if at all possible for working abroad opportunities are ahead of you if you determine and struggle for it. With the exception of earning high salary matter prospect, the chance to learn different niches and befriend to native people with their tradition and culture influence to you is wisdom, indeed.

If you are a Filipino seeking for a job abroad, subsequently, South Korea has been given a chance to all Filipino workers who wish to work abroad with the collaboration of Human Resources Department and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

Of course for South Koreans employment security they advice for regulations and conditions to Philippine Employment Agency giving the orders for this service to conduct Employment Permit system- Korean Language Test ( EPS-KLT ).

This is a necessary requirement to take on seeing that majority of Korean people are not quite good enough to speak English Language. That is why, as a source of communication, being the one who enter the territory of South Korea hence it is you by hand will be the one to carry some duties as a set in motion of your adjustment.

If you can pass South Korea’s main requirements- Employment Permit System- Korean Language Test ( EPS-KLT )- implemented by Human Resource development, those applicants who are successful taking up the said EPS-KLT will be included in the list of available workers. Therefore, being an EPS-KLT passer does not actually a guarantee to insertion in the registered jobseekers to be deployed to the said country.

Getting a job abroad is no easy thing. The preparation for a good work already starts the day we choose our course for college. Our careers choice is the path for our careers abroad. So choice wisely for a course that can get you a ticket abroad; in a 2007 survey some industry in the US needs professionals to fill in vacant positions.

Sales representatives, teachers, mechanics, Engineering technician, nurses, drivers, care givers, accountants, construction workers, physical therapist and Machine Operators. In my opinion, if you are a caliber Salesman in your country then maybe you will the chance to work in the USA with letter of recommendations from big and famous companies in your country.

Usually, nurses are the only in demand professionals in the US. And it is just within the last 5 years that vacant positions for the teachers are made available. Teachers from all levels are needed in the US. Further studies such as masteral degree and any specialization in certain fields are a great advantage.

Though 50 years ago, being a mechanic is considered low; now mechanics are being hired in the US, the more number of years you are in the industry, the better. Being a good mechanic means having a hands-on experience on the theories you got from school. The course can be gotten from your high school training or subject, in college or in vocational schools.

Drivers and Engineering technician are also very in demand. Drivers for delivery and freight are very welcome to apply. A requirement such as clean driving records is an advantage. Engineering technicians or just an associate degree in that industry from a community college, or vocational school is qualified to apply.

Machine operators with years of experience with handling machines are also needed. Trainings and certificates from employers is also an advantage.

All of these professionals should have good communications skills to fill in the vacant positions.

Nowadays, working abroad is not only what people are looking for yet they look for a work that also would also benefit them. There are some that would want to have a work abroad just for experience and some would also want to travel after they have work on that country and so on. There are programs for this kind of work abroad; you will have a month or so after working to have the opportunity to travel the country before going back. Mostly this kind of a work opportunity abroad takes only about 3 months to four months and so on. It actually depends on what kind of program that you have availed for.

Here is an example of this work experience abroad program. Some of the jobs that are being offered in this kind of programs are the following; bartender, waiter, front desk attendant, amusement park attendant, housekeeper and so on. It actually depends on your past work experience but mostly these are some of the jobs that are offered in that four months of a program to work abroad. You will also get to travel after you have had your work for a period of time. You will get to travel at least for a month. Not only do you get to work abroad and earn money, you will also get to travel and tour the country.

We don’t need a 4 years in a university to be a good welder or a mechanic. Even farmers are considered as skilled workers. For education and skill can be acquired in a various range of manner.

Most advertisements on work abroad usually ask for skilled workers. Especially in countries in the Europe continent or in the U.S or even in Asian countries such as Taiwan, Japan and Korea, skilled workers are very in demand. Yet most of us have a misconception of what a skilled worker is. Not knowing that we can qualify for the position.

Skilled workers can mean that you have a certain knowledge or skill. A two year technician graduate who has been working in a big company for 8 years is considered as a skilled worker. A mechanic, entertainer, farmer, welder, mason, chef, cosmetologist, software developer, dental assistant are just few of the skilled workers that are very in demand abroad.

Most of us think that only a licensed school teacher, doctor, nurse, psychiatrist, architect, engineer, lawyer are considered skilled workers. This is a very common misconception. Though these professions are also in high need in first world countries for their invaluable knowledge and experience!

But let us stress the point that being a skilled worker does all mean that we have four years degree in college or we got a PH doctorate degree. Skills simply mean knowledge acquired through education and experience. Being a mason does not take a 4 degree course. Or a good driver does not take 4 years stay in a well-known university.
