Volunteer work overseas and make a difference and at the same time gain work experience related to your field. You do not only help individual animal and child but an entire community in a certain society. You only have to look for your desired destination. Of course goal setting can make the choice easier than randomly choosing destination according to fancy.

The world is big and full of wonderful destination for your volunteer work overseas but let us take a few of these destinations.

• Turtle Conservation Project in St. Eustatius in the Caribbean Islands. There are two conservation parks in St. Eustatius – the Quill National Park and Marine Park. Working on these parks means helping the community in preserving their flora and fauna especially the turtles that lay eggs on the sand. This 8 kilometer island is a glimpse of the past as it did not adapt a fast paced life compared to other Caribbean islands. The island is a favorite volunteer programs overseas destination. Snorkeling and diving opportunities are the favorite activities of the tourist who came here in St. Statius. As volunteer workers you will be guided with your responsibilities and of course an orientation would be a must before your first day of work. Dutch is the official language in this island but English is very much widely spoken.

• Ecuador’s Cloud Forest Conservation can be a good work experience for agricultural and forestry courses. The goal of the program is to help conserve a fraction of the aforementioned forest through research activities, trail work, planting, food production, sustainable living and there are also community projects. Ecuador is the home of the famous Galapagos Island; it is a rich country with dense forests, well preserved indigenous cultures and colonial architecture. A volunteer work abroad in this island is not just all work but expect to enjoy all the sights and sound of South America’s smallest country.

To some volunteering, living, and working abroad is an adventure; to others getting a paid job means a livelihood for a family way back home. For others paid jobs are also getting university credits. Work Abroad overseas is a very much sought after endeavor for so many varied reasons.

Intern abroad program in Italy are so many; let us take a glimpse of some of the opportunities. Paid jobs programs are available in Italy in several different cities. The vacancies usually required a 30 to 35 hours of work per week usually in the industry of hospitality like theme park attendants, bar work, kitchen staff, waiting staff, receptionist, desk assistants, concierge assistant, hostesses, hotel staff and a lot more.

Applicants should be at least in the age range from 18 to 30 and the paid job opportunity is considered as an independent oriented opportunity. Living arrangements varies depending on the program. The dates of this program are very much flexible and vary throughout the year.

Applicants must come from EU particularly in Cyprus, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Canada and the United States of America and the applicant must speak Italian of any level. The program cost ranges from 350 Euros for 1 month of paid work to 1600 Euros for a 12 months of paid work in Italy.

So instead of getting hook with unpaid volunteer abroad program better get a job in Italy and at the same time a chance to travel in the country. A visit to Italy is also a gateway to easy access to Rome and Vatican both almost equaled in elegance and history with Italy.

A year of paid work in Italy is so short for a chance to visit ALL of the tourist attraction in the place. Italy actually has tons—- tons of tourists of attraction from north to south.

You seem to notice that everybody is going overseas to work except you. They are all getting work placements abroad while you are having the hardest time of your life. Some workers are like going shopping when they are looking for work and choosing the item that they like best.

I really do not know if such situation exists at these times and with the recession looming over us like a big hawk; but if it does I want to meet the fellow. Now, how do we shop for work abroad?

Working abroad is like shopping… we go to be prepared to be able to fish the best and the biggest there is in the market. When going shopping you got to have a list of what to buy to budget the money correctly right? In working abroad we got to have the right credentials to hook employers. And those credentials can be built as early as you wanted.

For work abroad teach getting the proper majors, units and experience is by far the most important. Sometimes we got to work and study for masterals to be qualified. Teaching the English language is not as easy as one, two, three… We got to really be qualified to do so. Most of the time, English native speakers really got the advantage of hooking the best offers yet other teacher also is competitive on this market. Perhaps due to experience and units earned.

Sometimes workers try to volunteer work abroad to give them extra edge over other applicants. They work really hard… if they were lucky they get hired by their volunteer employers and if don’t they apply for work as soon as they finished their contract.

Working abroad is very much like shopping… in some way…. We got to be prepared both financially, emotionally and physically.
